If you’re like me, you associate Little Hamilton with bleeding ears, screaming death metal, and the poster-venue for ear plugs.  But that seems to be changing lately as Little Hamilton begins to book innovative experimental artists like Theatre Intangible participants 84001 and Square People.  You can hear the latter on this artist showcase and this Podcamp Nashville performance, the former on the podcast Helpless and on an upcoming artist showcase.  They’re both playing at Little Hamilton on March 25th with three chiptune artists: the local 8-bit-dance-electronic phenomenon that is Rainbowdragoneyes, Chicago’s William Sides Atari Party, and Pittsburgh’s Bit Mummy.  All signs point to a spectacular show.  Fun starts at 8pm.  Hope to see you there.

UPDATE — Chris from Square People also wanted me to mention that the show is a tape release spectacular.  He couldn’t be reached for elaboration on what that actually means.  I suspect it’s his roundabout way to lure unsuspecting females into the restroom with him.  Lucky bastard.

Little Hamilton Collective, 03/25/10, 8pm, Donations go to the touring bands
