Color me intrigued. Theatre Intangible contributor Dylan Simon is putting on a “working class happening” tonight at Open Lot. What can you expect? He isn’t saying much other than dubbing it a “light and sound environment,” but you are advised to bring a pillow. Performers include Simon, Calving LaPorte, Evan Smith, Walker Mimm, Peter Stringer-Hye, and Lawrence Vaughn.
My curiosity has gotten the better of me, so I will be there, pillow in hand, ready for anything. I can guarantee it will be better than Opryland ICE, which I attended earlier today with some friends. Expensive. Long lines. Cold. There was an ice slide though.
