There are lots of places you can go in Nashville for New Years Eve, and the folks at the Nashville Scene were kind enough to provide this handy flow chart. I find it amusing that the End of The World Party at Open Lot was tagged as the place to go if you’re into “weird.” Works for me!
Featured on the bill are a whopping 10 bands, including T.I. participant CJ Boyd and his Kirtan Choir. Add the visual art of Jonathan Lisenby and Alexander/Henriksen, 80’s-style post-apocalyptic decor, and the fact that I get to bring my own beer equals the place to be when the ball drops. Join us for New Years Eve at Open Lot Nashville in post-apocalyptic style. Bringing us into the New Era will be a mélange of ten Nashville-based and nationally touring musical acts, ranging from mind-changing experimental sounds (Kirtan Choir) to sugar-sweet synth-pop (Details Details).
