Theatre Intangible participant PIMPDADDYSUPREME has upped the ante in local experimental music booking with an entire weekend of noise, glitch, electronic, and collage artists. Headlining the multi-venue festival is legendary copyright outlaw EVOLUTION CONTROL COMMITTEE (Wiki) (Mark Gunderson). If for some reason, you’ve never heard of ECC: THIS IS A BIG DEAL! Along with NEGATIVLAND, PLUNDERPHONICS, THE TAPE BEATLES, and other sonic outlaws, Mark challenged America’s overly-restrictive copyright laws while GIRL TALK was still playing with Tinker Toys.
