CJ Boyd
Theatre Intangible collaborator CJ Boyd will be back in town tonight for a solo set at Open Lot. You may remember him from the CJ Boyd Sextet, a group which played two T.I. showcase at WRVU. . . in the nude. Good thing WRVU didn’t have a web cam back then.
Also on the bill is the classical/ambient/experimental North Carolina band Lost Trail and The Ascent of Everest. Devin Lamp from Ascent of Everest provided visuals for two bands at the Circuit Benders’ Ball. His band’s music is just as innovative. A solid lineup indeed. Show starts at 10. Donations go to the touring bands.
